Desmond Singh is the CEO & Founder of Best Budz NJ LLC, a retailer in North Jersey opening soon. Originally from Englewood, NJ, Desmond pursued Criminal Justice as his career path, graduating from Bergen Community College and becoming a dispatcher for Englewood Police Department. Desmond excelled and his career took off when he became one of the youngest officers in Englewood’s history in 1997. As an officer he has developed strong relationships with community members and local businesses in Bergen County. Desmond’s career in law enforcement specialized in juvenile high-crime neighborhoods and interfacing with various agencies and resources related to preventing juvenile recidivism.

Since 2013, Desmond has been an active business leader and accounting professional as the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Tax Time Accounting Services in Englewood. Over the past nine years, he’s helped to build the company from the ground up, handling all aspects of employee onboarding and management, and has had a direct hand in all operational affairs. 

Saddle Brook, where Best Budz is opening a retail store soon, is a community close to home for the entire team. Best Budz plans to follow Desmond’s example from years dedicating business revenue towards beautification projects, local resident needs, food pantries, and promoting empowerment to those who have been most disenfranchised by cannabis prohibition.
