New Jersey Voters Came Through!
2020’s cannabis ballot initiative was a success and has spurred civic leaders to regulate a new cannabis industry. Accelerate Cannabis is proud of our Aerial Advocacy Campaign, the coalition organized behind NJCAN2020, and the decades of work from advocates all over the region that has led to this moment.
Politicians have agreed on key variables of the organizing legislation and voters successfully made their voices heard, voting ‘Yes’ on the 2020 measure Public Question 1, which would provide the constitutional amendment to legalize adult-use cannabis. New Jersey made history by being the state to have the largest margin of victory of any statewide cannabis legalization ballot effort in the U.S.
Socially-distanced civic engagement. Accelerate Cannabis is turning to aerial advertising to spread the cannabis reform message. The conversation needs to reach everyday citizens of New Jersey and we thank our partners and supporters who help make this campaign possible.
